Who Filled the Pool With Strawberry Jell-o

( also read in a Dr. Seuss voice because it is just cool like that)

The day was sunny, the weather mellow, the perfect day to swim. But alas, the pool is filled with Jell-0 , much too icky to jump in. It smelled like berries, of the strawberry sort- and quite a mess, made by whom had made it a sport. But through the muck and bitter despair , a question lingered in the air. Needless to wave and say " Hello.", but instead "Who filled the pool with strawberry Jell-0?"

There's the catering company, the host , and the dog. A couple of kids, their moms, a hog. But who in the midst of this great caper, would be charged with pen and paper? The kids playing in the sand? The host, frowning, cake in hand? Or a neighbor, alone, looking stranded? Who would be caught blushing and red handed? While others moped over the lack of water, a young boy made the party hotter. Seizing the day, along with his spoon, he began to eat away, humming a satisfied tune. And what should he find amongst the glumpy globs, but a name tag for a catering job? By blocking the pool, they were forced to eat, more income coming in for the extra baked treats. But, of course , the jokes on them, because once they're cuffed, the music’s loud, people splitting side and hem, and telling stories, bluffed. The day was saved , the party praised, though the sun was quite vicious. The breeze was cold, and the witnesses told- the Jell-O was delicious.

Hope you enjoy! This was so far the most fun to write, and for my 3yo sister, the most fun to hear.
